⌄Who connects the handrail system to the mains supply?
Delta will provide wiring back to the driver enclosure and a qualified electrician is required for the final connection to the mains.
⌄Do the handrails need to be earthed?
The lighting system is Separated Extra Low Voltage (SELV) which is a circuit that is separated from other circuits that carry higher voltages, isolated from the earth and from the protective earth conductors of other circuits.
⌄Will specifying handrail lighting increase the lead time for manufacture?
No, standard components are used and pre-installed into the handrails during the offsite assembly process.
⌄What is the difference between the striplight and spotlight systems?
Striplights give a more even spread of light whereas spotlights offer more directional light and can be retrofitted in existing handrails.
