⌄What are the design considerations for clear width on a stair?
The clear width between handrails relates to access, especially disabled access. Provided the handrail doesn't protrude from the wall or face of the balustrade, more than 100mm, it can be measured between handrails.

⌄Can a glass infill panel extend above the handrail?
Yes, if using offset handrails. The handrails must be fitted to the side where the public has access.

⌄Are there options for glass fixing lugs?
Yes, for the Duo range we offer 'banjo' shaped lugs and barrel lugs (see website for details). All Delta lugs are bolt through which requires holes in the glass. This eliminates the possibility of glass slippage. They all also have sleeves in them to ensure the bolt fixing can't come in contact with the glass.
