Delta successfully delivered yet another project in Bolton. Working with Willmott Dixon, Delta supplied and installed balustrades throughout the Bolton Institute of Medical Sciences.

We’re informed that on client visits throughout the duration of the project, the professionalism, helpfulness and pleasantness of site operatives and supervisors was frequently commented on in a positive light. Additionally, the project received excellent Group Safety Inspector audit results throughout, with average scores being in the region of 94 out of 100, and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities visited the project, referring to it as ‘exemplar’.

Deltas role in the Bolton College of Medical Sciences project involved installing:

• 166m of Orbis Tubular Wall Handrail throughout the entire building.
• 54m of Orbis OS251 Tubular Post No Infill balustrade to the lecture theatre and externals.
• 24m of Powder Coated MONO M311 Single Flat Post Glass Infill balustrade to the internal atriums.
• 98m of Orbis OS201 Tubular Post Vertical Bar Infill balustrade to the East and West Cores.
• 8m of Orbis OS211 Tubular Post Glass Infill balustrade inside the lecture theatre.

Upon handover of the Bolton Institute of Medical Sciences project, the Project Manager provided an exceptional feedback score for Delta: 9/10 for communication and 10/10 likelihood of recommending us.
