While modular systems are designed in the usual way by Delta Balustrades’ experienced engineers, they are assembled off site, ready for ‘plug and play’ installation with no on-site fabrication or finishing.
This not only saves installation time on site but also removes the need for any welding, which avoids the requirement for a hot works permit and reduces health and safety risks. Faster installation also means a more efficient site, with fewer people needed on site, freeing up workflows at the busy final fix stage of a scheme.
Faster installation is also a major benefit for operational refurbishment schemes, ensuring that any temporary closure of areas of the school can be completed as quickly as possible.
